National Advisory Council on Women's Educational Programs Nomination of Anne Thorsen Truax To Be a Member.

The President today announced that he will nominate Anne Thorsen Truax, of Minneapolis, to be a member of the National Advisory Council on Women's Educational Programs. She would replace Jon Fuller, whose term has expired.

Truax, 55, is an adjunct instructor of family social science and an instructor in the women's studies program at the University of Minnesota. She is director of the Minnesota Women's Center and is active in community and professional organizations.
