The President today announced the appointment of Bruce Babbitt, Governor of Arizona, as a member of the Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations.
.Babbitt, 40, has been Governor since 1977. He is a former attorney general of Arizona and former special assistant to the Director of VISTA.
