On Friday, June 9, the President and the First Lady will travel to Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Fort Liberty, North Carolina. In Rocky Mount, North Carolina they will discuss how career-connected learning and workforce training programs are preparing students for good-paying jobs in North Carolina – and nationwide – that are being created as a result of the President's Investing in America Agenda. This engagement will be pooled press.
At Fort Liberty, North Carolina, the President and First Lady will meet with service members and their families and deliver remarks at an event in support of Joining Forces, Dr. Biden's initiative to support military and veteran families, caregivers, and survivors. These remarks will be open press.
