WASHINGTON - On Wednesday, August 18, President Barack Obama will visit Columbus, Ohio, where he will meet with a local family at their home before hosting a discussion on the economy with families from the area.
The Tuesday evening arrival and Wednesday afternoon departure of Air Force One in Columbus as well as the discussion on the economy will be open to pre-credentialed media. However, space for the discussion is limited. The meeting will be pooled press.
While in the state, the President will also visit Columbus, where he will headline events for Governor Ted Strickland and the Ohio Democratic Party. These events will be pooled press.
