Advisory: Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff to Travel to Ohio

On Monday, June 5, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will travel to Columbus, Ohio to attend the U.S. Conference of Mayors 91st Annual Meeting.

The Second Gentleman will address mayors at the Annual Meeting. In his address, the Second Gentleman will highlight the Biden-Harris Administration's first-ever U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism. He will emphasize the importance of mobilizing communities and building a whole-of-society approach, including local leaders, mayors, and elected officials, to fight against antisemitism and hate of all kinds. This address will be open press.

The Second Gentleman will also participate in a roundtable with mayors from across the country to discuss bipartisan efforts to counter antisemitism. This roundtable will be closed press. Additional details to follow.
