Advisory: Vice President Mike Pence and the Second Lady Will Travel to Israel and Italy

On January 22nd to 25th, Vice President Mike Pence will travel to Israel and Italy on behalf of President Donald Trump.

On January 23rd, the Vice President and the Second Lady will join more than 30 heads of state and government from around the world to participate in the Fifth World Holocaust Forum at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem, Israel. This year's Forum coincides with the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp, where more than one million Jews were murdered.

On January 25th, the Vice President and the Second Lady will visit Vatican City, where he will meet His Holiness Pope Francis and Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin.
