Appointment of Agnes M. Waldron as Special Assistant to the President and Director of Research

The President has appointed Agnes M. Waldron to be Special Assistant to the President and Director of Research. This is a new position.

Miss Waldron most recently served as a professional staff member of the Senate Republican Policy Committee in 1977-1984. She served at the White House in the Office of the Press Secretary (1970-1973); Director of Research (1973-1976); and as Deputy Director of Communications in 1976.

She graduated from the University of Connecticut (B.S., 1946) and Catholic University (M.S.W., 1949). She was born October 2, 1924, in New Canaan, CT.
