Appointment of Bobby Lynn Brantley as a Member of the National Commission on Agriculture and Rural Development Policy
The President today announced his intention to appoint Bobby Lynn Brantley to be a member of the National Commission on Agriculture and Rural Development Policy. He would succeed Arthur R. Brown, Jr.
Since 1986 Mr. Brantley has served as Lieutenant Governor for the State of Florida. Prior to this he served as an elected member of the Florida House of Representatives, 1978 - 1986. Lieutenant Governor Brantley was born April 6, 1948, in Atmore, AL. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 1968 - 1972. He is married, has two children, and resides in Tallahassee, FL.
