The President today announced the appointment of Marjorie Fry Davis of New Orleans, La., as a member of the Committee for the Preservation of the White House.
Davis is a trustee of the New Orleans Museum of Art and a life fellow of the Metropolitan Museum, the Newark Museum, and the New Orleans Museum. She is active in numerous civic activities related to the arts. She owns an extensive art collection, which tours to benefit communities throughout the State.
