The following listing includes the President's public schedule and other items of general interest announced by the White House Press Office and not included elsewhere in this issue.

November 25

The President returned to the White House from Camp David, Md.

November 26

The President met at the White House with:

—Zbigniew Brzezinski, Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs;

—Frank B. Moore, Assistant to the President for Congressional Liaison;

—Vice President Walter F. Mondale.

November 27

The President met at the White House with:

—Dr. Brzezinski;

—the Democratic congressional leadership;

—Mr. Moore;

—Stansfield Turner, Director of Central Intelligence, and Dr. Brzezinski;

—Mrs. Carter, for lunch.

In a ceremony in the Oval Office, the President was presented with an award by representatives of Outdoor Life magazine for his activities on behalf of conservation.

The President participated in a briefing on the administration's programs and policies given for civic and community leaders from Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire in the East Room at the White House.

The White House announced that the President has canceled his trip to Seattle, Wash., and Portland, Oreg. The President regrets that the continuing situation in Iran requires the cancellation of the trip.

November 28

The President met at the White House with:

—Dr. Brzezinski;

—Representatives Jack Brooks of Texas and L. H. Fountain of North Carolina;

—Mr. Moore;

—James T. Mclntyre, Jr., Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

The President transmitted to the Congress and to the Comptroller General copies of the reports issued by the United Nations Joint Inspection Unit during the first half of 1979.

The White House announced that Army Aide to the President, Maj. Jose A. Muratti, Jr., will represent the President at memorial services for Marine Corporal Steven J. Crowley, in Port Jefferson, New York. Corporal Crowley was killed during an attack on the American Embassy in Pakistan.

November 29

The President met at the White House with:

—Dr. Brzezinski;

—Vice President Mondale, Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare Patricia R. Harris, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Moon Landrieu, Secretary of Labor Ray Marshall, Secretary of Transportation Neil Goldschmidt, Charles L. Schultze, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, Jack H. Watson, Jr., Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs, Stuart E. Eizenstat, Assistant to the President for Domestic Affairs and Policy, Alonzo L. McDonald, Jr., Assistant to the President, and Mr. Mclntyre, to discuss domestic policies;

—Mr. Moore;

—Mr. Mclntyre and other administration officials to review the fiscal year 1981 budget;

—Mayor-elect Bill Green of Philadelphia, Pa. The President participated in a briefing by administration officials on the strategic arms limitation treaty given for community leaders from Iowa, Indiana, and Michigan in the East Room at the White House.

The President has designated John A. Knauss as Vice Chairman of the National Advisory Committee on Oceans and Atmosphere (NACOA). Knauss has been a member of NACOA since 1978. He is dean of the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island.

The President has accorded John W. McDonald, Jr., the personal rank of Ambassador while he serves as United States Representative to the Third General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The conference is to be held in New Delhi, India, from January 20 to February 8, 1980.

November 30

The President met at the White House with:

—Dr. Brzezinski;

—Vice President Mondale, Secretary of State Cyrus R. Vance, Secretary of Defense Harold Brown, Hamilton Jordan, Assistant to the President, Hedley W. Donovan, Senior Adviser to the President, and Dr. Brzezinski; a group of mayors and county officials to discuss the fiscal year 1981 budget;

—Mr. Moore;

—Representative Charles B. Rangel of New York and a delegation from his congressional district. The President attended the funeral mass at Arlington National Cemetery for Cpl. Steven J. Crowley.

The President transmitted to the Congress the Aggregate Report on Personnel for fiscal year 1979.

The President left the White House for a weekend stay at Camp David.
