Portland, Oregon – As Senator John Edwards visits Portland, Oregon today for a town hall meeting to share his bold plans for change with Oregonians, key Democratic leaders are endorsing Edwards for president. State House Speaker Jeff Merkley and State Representative Mitch Greenlick, PhD, endorsed Edwards, joining State Senate President Pro Tem Margaret Carter and Robert Stoll, who endorsed Edwards in March.
"I am proud to support John Edwards for president," said Merkley. "Edwards not only understands the concerns of regular Americans, but he has laid out detailed plans to address these concerns and help our families get ahead. Edwards is a true leader who will move our country forward."
