BE IT KNOWN, THAT THIS DAY, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN, JR., PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, PURSUANT TO MY POWERS UNDER ARTICLE II, SECTION 2, CLAUSE 1, OF THE CONSTITUTION, AFTER CONSIDERING THE APPLICATION FOR EXECUTIVE CLEMENCY, HAVE GRANTED UNTO

REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI

A FULL PARDON

FOR THOSE OFFENSES charged in an indictment (Docket No. 1:2l-cr-00501-ABJ) filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on July 30, 2021, for violations of: (Count One): Section 371, Title 18, United States Code; (Count Four): Section 305, Title 13 and Section 2(b), Title 18, United States Code and Parts 30.2, 30.16, and 30.37, Title 15, Code of Federal Regulations; (Counts Five through Ten): Section 1956(a)(2)(A), Title 18, United States Code; (Counts Two and Three): Section 1705, Title 50, United States Code and Parts 764.2(a) and 764.2(b), Title 15 and Parts 560.203 and 560.205, Title 31, Code of Federal Regulations; and (Forfeiture Count): Sections 982(a)(l) & 982(b)(l), Title 18, Section 853(p), Title 21, and Section 2461(c), Title 28, United States Code.

I CONDITION THE PARDON UPON THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

(1) the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI, AKA REZA SARHANG, shall depart the United States;

(2) the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI, AKA REZA SARHANG, shall thereafter remain outside the limits of the United States, its territories, and its possessions;

(3) the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI, AKA REZA SARHANG, shall not commit any additional crime against the United States or in violation of the laws of the United States subsequent to the acceptance of this Pardon;

(4) the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI, AKA REZA SARHANG, shall waive and release any all claims, demands, rights, and causes of action of whatsoever kind and nature against the United States of America, its agents, servants, and employees;

(5) the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI, AKA REZA SARHANG, shall waive any and all claims to funds already seized as part of the prosecution of offenses subject to this Pardon; and

(6) the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI, AKA REZA SARHANG, shall not accept or otherwise receive any financial benefit directly or indirectly, in any manner or amount, from any book, movie, or other publication or production, in any form or media, about his situation;

IF AT ANY TIME the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI, AKA REZA SARHANG, violates one or more of the aforementioned terms, as determined by me in my complete discretion (or by a future President in his or her complete discretion), this Pardon may be voided in its entirety.

THIS GRANT SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE only upon the delivery and presentment of a certified copy of this document, electronic or hard copy, to the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI, AKA REZA SARHANG, and upon the said REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI'S, AKA REZA SARHANG, signing of a receipt verifying his acceptance of the Pardon granted with all of its conditions.

AN ELECTRONIC VERSION OF A CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS GRANT SHALL be delivered to the United States Marshals Service, directing them to cause REZA SARHANGPOUR KAFRANI'S, AKA REZA SARHANG, immediate release from any confinement, supervision or pretrial conditions to which he may now be subject.
