Executive Order 10782—Amending Executive Order No. 10773 of July 1, 1958, Relating to Civil and Defense Mobilization
By virtue of the authority vested in me as President of the United States, and consonant with the provisions of the act of August 26, 1958 (72 Stat. 861), it is ordered, effective as of August 26, 1958, that Executive Order No. 10773 of July 1, 1958, be, and it is hereby, amended (1) by deleting the words "Defense and Civilian Mobilization", whenever used as part of the title of any officer or the name of any agency or body, and by inserting in lieu thereof, the words "Civil and Defense Mobilization", and (2) by inserting in section 1 thereof, as herein-above amended, after "1958" a comma and the words "as amended".
