Executive Order 5020—Authorizing the Reinstatement of James M.E. Brown Without Regard to Civil Service Rules
James M.E. Brown may be reinstated to the position of guard in the Treasury Department without regard to the time limit on reinstatement under the civil service rules.
Mr. Brown served in the Government Printing Office in various positions for more than forty-one years, being dropped on account of reduction of force, March 27, 1923. This order is issued upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Treasury. The Civil Service Commission concurs.
