Executive Order 5052—Authorizing the Appointment of Mrs. James E. Golladay Without Regard to Civil Service Rules

Mrs. James E. Golladay, widow of Mr. Golladay, who served in the Interior Department for twenty-eight years preceding his death, may be appointed to an appropriate clerical position without reference to the civil service rules.
The Civil Service Commission cannot recommend the appointment as required by the interests of the service.
