Executive Order 5151-A—Assignment of Frequencies to Government Radio Stations

July 08, 1929

Whereas Section 8 of the Radio Act of 1927 provides that all Government stations shall use such frequencies or wave lengths as shall be assigned to each or to each class by the President

And whereas the Secretary of the Navy has filed application for frequencies for use by the Navy Department's Radio Stations on shore and afloat

And whereas the Secretary of War has filed application for frequencies for use by the War Department at its various stations

And whereas the Secretary of War has filed application for a frequency for use in communication with its amateur reserve net

Now, therefore, I, Herbert Hoover, President of the United States, pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, do hereby amend Executive Order No. 4846-A, dated March 30, 1928, to include the following assignments to the War Department and to the Navy Department as follows:
