Mrs. Alice Tasker, formerly a matron in the New York Office of the Veterans' Bureau from December 15, 1921, to February 8, 1924, when she was discharged without prejudice for continued absence due to injury incurred in an accident in the subway at 42nd Street, New York, may be reinstated in an appropriate position in any part of the service. The Director of the Veterans' Bureau states that her services were satisfactory during her employment under his office.
