Executive Order 5382—Authorizing the Paymaster of the Panama Canal to Advance Funds to Bonded Employees

June 24, 1930

The Paymaster of the Panama Canal, under the direction of the Auditor of the Panama Canal, is authorized to advance small sums of cash to bonded employees of the Panama Canal on the Isthmus of Panama, for the purpose of making petty cash disbursements: Provided, That not more than $200 is to be advanced to any one bonded employee at one time. The Paymaster of the Panama Canal will remain responsible for the proper disbursement of such cash and shall render an accounting therefor under his bond as Paymaster.
