Mrs. Robert D. Freeman may be appointed a clerk in the classified service of the Bureau of Prohibition in the Department of Justice without compliance with the requirements of the civil service rules.
Mrs. Freeman is the widow of former Prohibition Agent Robert D. Freeman, who met his death while in the performance of his official duties at San Francisco, Calif., on February 8, 1930, leaving Mrs. Freeman with their 2-year-old son and without adequate means of support.
This order is recommended by the Attorney General.
