Mrs. Pearl McIntosh may be appointed to a suitable position in the General Accounting Office without regard to the requirements of the civil service rules.
This order is issued upon the recommendation of the Comptroller General, who states that Mrs. McIntosh is the widow of Fred D. McIntosh who was an employee of the Government for a period of more than twenty-six years; that she has four children dependent upon her for support; and that her services could be used to advantage in assorting and filing postal savings certificates, Post Office Department division of the General Accounting Office.
