
Executive Order 6222—Postponing Effective Date of Transfer of Legal Work, Veterans' Administration to Department of Justice
By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 16 of the act of March 3, 1933 (Public, No. 428, 47 Stat. 1517), and pursuant to the provision of section 22 of Executive Order No. 6166, dated June 10, 1933, the effective date of the transfer to the Department of Justice of the legal work now being performed by the Veterans' Administration in connection with the defense of suits against the United States arising under section 19 of the World War Veterans Act, 1924, as amended, is hereby postponed to September 10, 1933.
