Executive Order 6347—Further Stay of Part I, Section 1(c) of Code of Fair Competition for the Underwear and Allied Products Manufacturing Industry
A Code of Fair Competition for the Underwear and Allied Products Manufacturing Industry having been approved by me September 18, 1933, on condition that all manufacturers included within the provisions of part I, section 1 (c) of said code be granted a stay of fourteen (14) days after the effective date thereof, during which period they might show cause to the Administrator why they should not be included under the provisions of such section, and public hearings having been held thereon October 14, 1933,
Now, Therefore, I, Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States, pursuant to the authority vested in me by title I of the National Industrial Recovery Act, approved June 16, 1933, and otherwise, do hereby grant an additional stay of said provisions pending the determination by the Administrator of the issues with respect thereto.
