Executive Order 6487—Amendments to the Code of Fair Competition for the Lumber and Timber Products Industries

An application having been made by the lumber code authority pursuant to and in full compliance with the provisions of title I of the National Industrial Recovery Act, approved June 16, 1933, for amendment of the Code of Fair Competition for the Lumber and Timber Products Industries, as heretofore approved by me, and hearings having been held thereon, and the Administrator having rendered his report, recommending the granting of such application, such proposed amendments to be designated as amendment no. 3 and amendment no. 4, establishing the Broom and Mop Handle Division:

Now, Therefore, I, Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States, pursuant to the authority vested in me by title I of the National Industrial Recovery Act, approved June 16, 1933, and otherwise, do adopt and approve the report of the Administrator, recommending the granting of the aforesaid application and do order that the Code of Fair Competition for the Lumber and Timber Products Industries, as approved by me on August 19, 1933, be amended in accordance with the foregoing.
