Executive Order 6617—Withdrawal of Public Lands for Use in Connection with Walker River Indian Irrigation Project, Nevada
By virtue of the authority vested in me by the act of June 25, 1910 (ch. 421, 36 Stat. 847), as amended by the act of August 24, 1912 (ch. 369, 37 Stat. 497), and subject to the conditions therein expressed and to all valid existing rights, it is ordered that the following-described public lands in Nevada be, and they are hereby, withdrawn from settlement, location, sale, entry, and all forms of appropriation, for use in connection with the Walker River Indian irrigation project, Nevada:
Mount Diablo Base Meridian
T. 13 N., R. 28 E., sec. 7, lots 1 and 2, and E½NW¼.
This order shall continue in full force and effect unless and until revoked by the President or by act of Congress.
