Executive Order 6787—Amendment of Executive Order No. 6208, of July 21, 1933, Entitled "Purchase of Forest Lands for Emergency Conservation Work"
Executive Order No. 6208, of July 21, 1933, allocating funds for the purchase of forest lands for emergency conservation work, from the appropriation for National Industrial Recovery made by the Fourth Deficiency Act, fiscal year 1933, is hereby amended by adding thereto the following paragraph:
"The Secretary of Agriculture, as a means for carrying out the purposes of said allotment, is authorized to expend so much of the money herein allotted as may in his judgment be necessary to protect, improve, and administer the lands purchased under the provisions of this order, until such time as funds are made available for that purpose in the regular appropriations of the Department of Agriculture."
