Executive Order 6797—Withdrawal of Potash Lands

July 27, 1934

NEW MEXICO

By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the act of June 25, 1910 (ch. 421, 36 Stat. 847), as amended by the act of August 24, 1912 (ch. 369, 37 Stat. 497), and subject to the conditions therein expressed and to valid existing rights, it is ordered that the following-described public lands in the State of New Mexico be, and they are hereby, temporarily withdrawn from settlement, location, sale, entry, permit, or lease and reserved to control the supply and distribution of potash and in aid of legislation:

NEW MEXICO PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN

T. 20 S., R. 29 E., secs. 26, 27, 34, and 35, 2,560 acres.

This order shall continue in full force and effect unless and until revoked by the President or by act of Congress.
