Executive Order 7011—Authorizing the Appointment of Mrs. Anna Jewell Murray to a Clerical Position in the Treasury Department Without Regard to Civil-Service Rules

April 15, 1935

By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the provisions of paragraph Eighth of subdivision SECOND of section 2 of the Civil Service Act of January 16, 1883 (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is hereby ordered that Mrs. Anna Jewell Murray may be appointed to a clerical position in the Treasury Department without compliance with the requirements of the civil-service rules.

Mrs. Murray is the widow of Arthur H. Murray, who served for 23 years in the Treasury Department.

This order is recommended by the Secretary of the Treasury.
