
Executive Order 7022—Amending Code of Fair Competition for the Distilled Spirits Rectifying Industry
Whereas the Federal Alcohol Control Administration has submitted for my approval amendments to the Code of Fair Competition for the Distilled Spirits Rectifying Industry and has rendered its report and recommendations and findings thereon; and
Whereas due notice of public hearings on said amendments have been given and public hearings have been held pursuant to such notice;
Now, Therefore, by virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by Title I of the National Industrial Recovery Act of June 16, 1933 (ch. 90, 48 Stat. 195), and in order to effectuate the purposes of said Title, I hereby approve said amendments and modify my previous approval of the Code of Fair Competition for the Distilled Spirits Rectifying Industry to include an approval of said Code in its entirety as hereby amended.
