Executive Order 7540—Revocation of Executive Order No. 6550 of January 6, 1934, Requiring Reports as to Allocation and Obligation of Emergency Funds

Whereas the purpose of Executive Order No. 6550 of January 6, 1934, providing for the submission to, and compilation by, the Director of the Bureau of the Budget of information regarding the allocation and obligation of emergency funds, is now adequately accomplished under the regulations issued pursuant to the authority of Executive Order No. 7034 of May 6, 1935, as amended, and under other existing accounting regulations:

Now, Therefore, by virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me as President of the United States, it is ordered that the said Executive Order No. 6550 be, and it is hereby, revoked.
