Executive Order 8345—Exemption of Fred C. Bailey From Compulsory Retirement for Age

February 12, 1940

Whereas, in my judgment, the public interest requires that Fred C. Bailey, Fleet Manager, Maintenance and Repair Division, United States Maritime Commission, who was exempted from compulsory retirement for age for a period of one year ending March 31, 1940, by Executive Order No. 8060 of March 7, 1939, be further exempted from such compulsory retirement for a period of one year:

Now, Therefore, by virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 204 of the act of June 30, 1932, 47 Stat. 382, 404 (U.S.C., title 5, sec. 715a), I hereby further exempt the said Fred C. Bailey from compulsory retirement for age for a period of one year ending March 31, 1941.
