Executive Order 8844—Amending Executive Order No. 8827 of July 24, 1941, Exempting Harry T. Edwards From Compulsory Retirement for Age
By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 204 of the act of June 30, 1932, 47 Stat. 382, 404 (U.S.C., title 5, sec. 715a), Executive Order No. 8827 of July 24, 1941, exempting Harry T. Edwards, senior technologist, Bureau of Plant Industry, Department of Agriculture, from compulsory retirement for age for a period of one year ending October 31, 1941, is hereby amended so as to exempt Mr. Edwards from compulsory retirement for a period of one year ending October 31, 1942.
