Federal Maritime Commission Nomination of James V. Day To Be a Commissioner.

The President today announced that he will nominate James V. Day, of Kennebunk, Maine, for reappointment as a Commissioner of the Federal Maritime Commission for a term expiring June 30, 1984.

Day, 65, has been a Federal Maritime Commissioner since 1962. He is a former national director of public affairs for the American Legion and vice chairman of its Merchant Marine Committee.
