Gingrich Campaign Press Release - New Polls Show Gingrich in First in Alabama, Mississippi

Two new polls out today show that Newt's message of $2.50 gasoline is resonating and voters are responding to his bold leadership that has put President Obama on the defensive over his failed policies.

In Alabama, Rasmussen shows Newt with the slight edge for first place with 30%.

Gingrich — 30%

Romney — 29%

Santorum — 28%

And in Mississippi, American Research Group has Newt in first place with 35%. Among Tea Party supporters, Newt holds a commanding lead with 49% to Romney's 24%. Here are the overall results:
