NEWTON, Iowa — Today, at a town hall in Newton, IA, Marlys Popma, one of the most effective Republican organizers in Iowa caucus history and a champion for the pro-life cause, endorsed Nikki Haley for president.

"Today I endorsed Nikki Haley. I walked into an event undecided but came out with unconditional support for her candidacy. Haley has been a governor and knows how to balance budgets and trim government waste. As former Ambassador to the United Nations she brings a unique foreign affairs perspective paralleled by no other candidate," said Marlys Popma.

"I spoke with Nikki Haley about her position on abortion. Although she has a gentle approach to the issue, I am confident that she is 100% pro-life. If we the people can get her a Congress that supports protection of the unborn, she will sign the most protective measures achievable to save as many babies as possible until we save them all!
