Nikki Haley has been vocal about combating antisemitism and anti-Zionism sweeping across America, particularly on college campuses. She has called for changing the federal definition of antisemitism to include anti-Zionism, stripping schools of their tax-exempt status if they don't crack down on antisemitism and anti-Zionism, investigating the funders of pro-Hamas student groups, denying and canceling visas for terrorist sympathizers, and tackling DEI programs that have become hotbeds of antisemitism.
NIKKI HALEY'S RECORD
Haley criticized Joe Biden for failing to include anti-Zionism in the federal definition of antisemitism.
-
Haley: "You can't fight antisemitism if you can't define it. Joe Biden and the Left refuse to call anti-Zionism antisemitism. As president, I will change the official federal definition of antisemitism to include denying Israel's right to exist, and I will pull schools' tax exemption status if they do not combat antisemitism in all of its forms – in accordance with federal law."
Haley called for shaming people who support Hamas.
-
Haley: "So when they get up there and they hold those signs or they get upset on why people won't hire them, it's because companies don't want to hire someone who wants to destroy our country. That's why I think every name needs to be notified, I mean, it needs to be published. Every face needs to be published. And we need to call this out for the hate that it is. This is absolutely unacceptable in America."
Haley criticized the UN for its blatant anti-Israel bias.
- Haley denounced the Jordanian resolution calling for a ceasefire, saying, "??America's UN ambassador should denounce this. There would be no call for a ceasefire if this happened to any other country. This sham resolution doesn't even mention Hamas. Take the names of those who side with the Hamas terrorists."
- Haley called out the UN Secretary General for saying Hamas' attacks didn't happen in a vacuum and called for his resignation.
Haley has a long record of standing up to antisemitism.
- Haley was the first governor in the country to sign anti-BDS legislation.
- Haley fought blacklisting efforts against Israel at the United Nations, condemning a UN Human Rights Council blacklist of international companies that do business with Israel in the West Bank.
