Haley Campaign Press Release - Haley: "I would crush Joe Biden"

MIAMI, Fla. – Last night, Nikki Haley showed why she is beating Joe Biden by the largest margin in all the polls — she is clear-eyed about America's threats, she is honest about America's challenges, and she unapologetically stands with good in the fight against evil. On Fox Business and Fox News this morning, Haley continued to take the fight to the Democrats, saying, "I would crush Joe Biden."

Indeed, the latest New York Times/Siena College poll shows Haley beating Biden by 9 points in key battleground states while DeSantis and Trump lead by a mere 3 points. A Marquette University poll in Wisconsin shows Haley leading Biden 53% to 44%.

On Nikki crushing Joe Biden in a general election...

"We want the American people to know that there's never been a time where it's more urgent that America get this right. And it's not just about the primary, everybody's talking about the primary now, it's who can beat Joe Biden and who can beat any Democrat that goes there. And you can tell from the momentum that we have, but more than that, look at the polls, we crush Joe Biden in a general election, and this is about making sure we don't have a President Kamala Harris. And so we're going to continue working hard, we're going to continue to get our message out, because we have a country to save... We have to have a new generational leader, and we can't fix the problems of the 21st century with politicians from the 20th century."

On President Biden's foreign policy weakness...

"Well, and I'll tell you, as a military wife whose husband is deployed, who's in an area that's very sensitive, it's infuriating that our men and women are even being put in this situation. And Biden, once again, it's too little, too late. He's allowed this to happen, so Iran keeps doing it. What he's got to do is give a big punch. You go after their infrastructure, the infrastructure that they are using to do those attacks, you completely wipe it out. That is the gut hit that they need to see so that they stop. Iran always responds to strength, but they will terrorize responding to weakness. And that's what Biden has done. All he's done is appease Iran through this."

On Biden sending Janet Yellen to meet her Chinese counterpart...

"I can tell you what he should be saying. What he should say is, we're going to end all normal trade relations with you until you stop murdering Americans by sending fentanyl. He should say that we're no longer going to sell the Communist Party any U.S. land and we're going to take back the land that they've already purchased. He should say that we're going to stop sending any technology to you and he should call them out on what they've done with COVID and everything else. But the problem is what's going to come out of that meeting is something about climate change. It's going to be something about the environment because that's all he ever talks about. He thinks that if he finds something in common with China that they won't be a threat to us. They are already infiltrated in this country."

On a new generational leader...

"The country deserves better than a president in their 80s. And Trump and Biden would give us that. It is time for a new generational leader. If you look at the polls, I crush Joe Biden in every single poll. That's what Republicans need to focus on is, yes, we're going to talk about a primary, but at the end of the day, we need to have someone at the top of the ticket that wins governor's races, that wins congressional races, that allows us to really get our country back on track. And that's what I'm trying to do."

"You know everybody is continuing to talk about his lead. Well I'll tell you that when I got into this race everybody was talking about all the other leads. It is slow and steady wins the race. We are now surging. We're second in Iowa. We're second in New Hampshire. We're second in South Carolina. We got one more fella to go after. And I'm telling you, we're going to do it."
