Haley Campaign Press Release - Haley Kicks off North Country Swing in North Conway

July 06, 2023

NORTH CONWAY, N.H. – Tonight, presidential candidate Nikki Haley kicked off her Granite State North Country swing with a town hall in North Conway. She met with voters, answered unscripted questions, and spoke about her plan to make America strong and proud.

Haley will also hold events in Lincoln, Lancaster, Hanover, and Henniker. By the end of the week, she will have done 39 grassroots campaign events in New Hampshire since announcing her bid for the White House.

Haley highlights...

"Every parent deserves to know what is being taught and said to their child in the classroom. No parent should be guarded from what school bureaucrats are telling our kids. You deserve to know everything that is happening in the classroom. We will make sure there is full transparency."

"When it comes to universities, we'll tell them you either take U.S. money or Chinese money, but the day of taking both is over. We'll get this Chinese infiltration out of our universities."

"When it comes to our veterans, we will make sure our veterans know we don't just love them when they're gone, we will thank them for the rest of their lives... Every veteran should be able to pick the doctor or hospital they want to go to. Every veteran should be able to have their spouse taken care of as well."

"What has Congress done for you lately? Nothing. That's why we need to push for term limits in D.C. And yes, I believe we need to have mental competency tests for anyone over the age of 75."

"We should stop normal trade relations with China if they don't stop sending fentanyl across our border..."

"It is not being dramatic when I tell you that China is preparing for war against the United States...What are we doing? Our military is taking gender pronoun classes. China is laughing at us."
