WATERLOO
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier: "Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley said she's been underestimated in everything she's ever done – but that makes her 'scrappy' and a hard worker...In her role as governor, she said she took double-digit unemployment percentages and turned the state of South Carolina into the 'beast of the southeast,' noting that companies like Boeing, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo came to the state." (The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, 5/18/23) Des Moines Register's Francesca Block: "@NikkiHaley makes her next campaign stop in Iowa for a meet & greet in Waterloo. She begins, as she did last night in Ankeny, by praising Iowa Gov. @KimReynoldsIA as 'the best governor in the country.'" (Twitter, 5/18/23)
DUBUQUE
Telegraph Herald: "Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley lists lessons she learned as ambassador to the United Nations, which she said will help her return the U.S. to a 'simple' place of 'faith, family and country' at the first candidate's stop in Dubuque of the 2024 Iowa Caucus season."
