CHARLESTON, S.C. – Presidential candidate Nikki Haley will be back on the road next week in Iowa holding several town halls and events in Ankeny, Waterloo, Dubuque, and Davenport. Following the swing, she will have done more than 20 events in the Hawkeye State since announcing her candidacy. She's also the first announced guest for Senator Joni Ernst's annual Roast and Ride in June.
Senator Joni Ernst: "I am SO thrilled to announce @nikkihaley as one of our special guests at this year's #RoastandRide! She is a true conservative champion, and I look forward to welcoming her on June 3rd to hear her vision for a strong and proud America."
Washington Examiner: "Republican 2024 contender Nikki Haley will take part in Sen. Joni Ernst's (R-IA) annual 'Roast and Ride' fundraiser for veterans next month. Haley has barnstormed the Hawkeye State aggressively since debuting her campaign back in February. She's attended dozens of events in Iowa, and the 'Roast and Ride' will be her second major event with Ernst."
The End of Title 42: Chaos Continued
As the only presidential candidate to visit the southern border, Haley continued to hammer Joe Biden for his border crisis in a new campaign video and several media hits.
Fox News: "Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is blaming President Biden for the ongoing migrant crisis at the southern border as border officials prepare for the ending of the Title 42 public health order this week -- with Haley promoting her plan to secure the border if she were to become president."
Haley Pledges to Support Term Limits as President
Washington Examiner: "Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley endorsed a congressional term limit plan. Under the plan, politicians would be limited to three House terms and two Senate terms. She is the first 2024 candidate to sign a pledge to back the plan and support a constitutional amendment for it, according to U.S. Term Limits, a group that advocates that policy."
Nikki Haley: "Our Founding Fathers did not want people to make careers out of government. Yet our current D.C. politicians have made a lucrative career of long-term service with some members of Congress serving most of their life in Congress. The result of this dysfunction speaks for itself. We must and can do better and that is why I will support passage of the U.S. Term Limits amendment when I am in the White House."
