Media Advisory: Vice President Kamala Harris to Travel to Florida

On Thursday, July 14th, 2022, Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Orlando, Florida for the 70th Boule of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The Vice President's remarks will be pooled press. After her remarks, the Vice President, joined by Secretary Xavier Becerra of the Department of Health and Human Services, will hold a roundtable with Florida state legislators about reproductive rights. The roundtable will have a pool spray covered by the traveling pool. Additional details to follow.

Following her visit to Orlando, the Vice President will travel to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, where she will meet with servicemembers and receive a briefing from United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Commander, General Michael E. Kurilla, United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Commander, General Richard D. Clarke, and other USCENTCOM and USSOCOM leaders. Her visit to MacDill Air force base will be open to pre-credentialed media. Additional details to follow.
