Media Advisory: Vice President Kamala Harris to Travel to Las Vegas, NV and Myrtle Beach, SC

In the first week of the new year, Vice President Harris will travel to Nevada and South Carolina. During both visits she will speak about the Biden-Harris administration's work to deliver for working families and build an economy that works for all. She will also speak to the need for Americans to use their voices and stay engaged in the fight against extremist attacks on fundamental freedoms.

On Wednesday, January 3, Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to uplift the Biden-Harris Administration's ongoing commitment to supporting workers and their right to collectively bargain. In Las Vegas, the Vice President will deliver remarks and meet with hospitality workers of the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 as they celebrate their successful new contracts, which led to a historic increase in wages and workplace safety improvements. This will mark the Vice President's 9th visit to the Battle Born State since taking office.

On Saturday, January 6, Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Myrtle Beach, SC to deliver the keynote address at the 7th Episcopal District AME Church Women's Missionary Society annual retreat. This will mark her seventh visit to the Palmetto State since becoming Vice President.
