Media Advisory: White House Hosts Cybersecurity Summit for K-12 Schools

On Monday, August 7, the White House will host school administrators, educators, and education technology providers from across the country for Back to School Safely: Cybersecurity Summit for K-12 Schools. The White House convening will focus on strengthening our schools' cyber infrastructure and lessons learned from districts recently impacted by cyberattacks. The Biden-Harris Administration will also announce a slate of commitments to help build our schools' cyber defenses.

First Lady Jill Biden, Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas will join the convening and provide opening remarks. This event in the East Room will be open to pre-credentialed media. RSVP HERE by Saturday 8/5 at 6:00 PM ET.
