Subject: Determination that Sale of Surplus Agricultural Commodities to the United Arab Republic is Essential to the National Interest
In accordance with your recommendation of 17 November, I hereby determine pursuant to Section 107 of the Agricultural Trade Development and Assistance Act of 1954, as amended, that it is essential to the national interest of the United States to finance export sales of surplus agricultural commodities to the United Arab Republic under title I of that Act.
