Note: The message was sent to the New York Newspaper Club, 136 West 42d Street, New York City, and transmitted as a part of a radio program relayed to [p.336] Commander Byrd and his expedition in Little America. Little America was the expedition base where Commander Byrd was preparing for his flight to the South Pole on November 29.
