The President today announced his intention to nominate Charles L. Cragin, of Maine, to be Chairman of the Board of Veterans Appeals for a term of 6 years. This is a new position.
Currently Mr. Cragin serves as a partner with the law firm of Verrill and Dana in Portland, ME. Mr. Cragin graduated from the University of Maine (B.S., 1967) and the University of Maine School of Law (J.D., 1970). He was born October 9, 1943, in Portland, ME. Mr. Cragin is married, has two children, and currently resides in Raymond, ME.
