The President announced his intention today to nominate Linda H. Daschle to be the Deputy Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration at the Department of Transportation.
"Linda Daschle's wide range of experience in the aviation industry, in Government, and as a consumer give her the perspective that is needed for this position," said the President. "She will be a welcome presence at the FAA."
