Nomination of Frank B. Sollars To Be a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Consumer Cooperative Bank

The President today announced his intention to nominate Frank B. Sollars to be a member of the Board of Directors of the National Consumer Cooperative Bank for a term of 3 years. This is a reappointment.

Since 1939 Mr. Sollars has been a self-employed farmer. In addition, he has served as director of the National Cooperative Bank in Washington, DC, since 1980, and chairman of the board for the National Cooperative Bank, 1980 - 1988; director of Nationwide Mutual Casualty Insurance Co. of Columbus, OH, since 1968, and as chairman of the board for the same company since 1972. Mr. Sollars has served as the director of the National Cooperative Business Association since 1975, and was chairman of the board for the same organization, 1985 - 1987.

Mr. Sollars was born June 29, 1921, in Fayette County, OH. He is married, has five children, and currently resides in Washington Court House, OH.
