Nomination of Roger A. Yurchuck To Be a Director of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation
The President today announced his intention to nominate Roger A. Yurchuck to be a Director of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation for a term expiring December 31, 1987. This is a reappointment.
Since 1973 Mr. Yurchuck has been a partner with the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease in Columbus and Cincinnati, OH. In 1971-1973 he served as vice president and general counsel of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation in Washington, DC. Previously he was a partner with Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease.
He graduated from Northwestern University (B.A., 1959) and Harvard Law School (LL.B., 1962). He has two children and resides in Cincinnati, OH. He was born June 9, 1938, in Amityville, NY.
