Overseas Private Investment Corporation Nomination of Two Members of the Board of Directors.

September 25, 1980

The President today announced that he will nominate two persons for reappointment as members of the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. They are:

James M. Friedman, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, a partner in the Cleveland law firm of Guren, Merritt, Sogg & Cohen. He is general counsel of the Lake Erie Regional Transportation Authority and former chairman of the Ohio Civil Rights Commission.

Edward L. Marcus, of Branford, Conn., an attorney in New Haven, Conn., specializing in real estate, corporate, and commercial law. He was a member of the Connecticut State Senate for 12 years and served as chairman of Connecticut's Commission on Intergovernmental Relations.
