There are no public events on the president's schedule today. The White House daily press briefing is, at this moment, scheduled for 1330.

Pool will advise if either of those change.

WH pool report 2 -- Kirby to join briefing

The White House press office advises that White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby will join Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre at today's briefing, which is still set for 1330.

The WH press office has declared a lunch lid until 1315.

WH pool report 4 -- 2 mins to briefing

The press office just announced that the daily briefing would begin in 2 minutes.

Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and NSC communications adviser John Kirby entered the briefing room at 1343.

Adm. Kirby took questions for 30 minutes before leaving, and Pres Sec. Jean-Pierre took questions for another 20 minutes.
